What this space is for
Ask practical questions, share experience, recommend resources and discuss careers, conditions, behaviour, AI and teaching life.
Protect privacy
- Do not identify pupils.
- Do not share identifiable safeguarding information here.
- Do not post confidential workplace details, disciplinary information or colleague names.
- Prefer general descriptions over specifics that identify a school.
Safeguarding emergencies
TeacherGuide is not an emergency or safeguarding reporting channel. Use your school's designated safeguarding lead, local authority procedures or emergency services where required.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, doxxing or discrimination
- Spam, advertising or impersonation
- Illegal material
- Knowingly defamatory allegations
- Dangerous advice presented as fact
Advice boundaries
Discussions about pay, pensions, contracts and conditions are peer experience — not professional financial or legal advice.
Your contributions
You retain appropriate rights in your contributions while granting TeacherGuide a licence to display, moderate, distribute and improve the community service. We may remove or restrict content that breaks these guidelines.
Reporting
Use the report controls on discussions and replies. Moderators review reports and may hide content, lock threads or restrict accounts.
